| Bio: | Born in San Francisco, California/ Grew up wanting to be a storyteller/cartoonist/ Unremarkable public school years/ Went to high school where our academics and football team were last, but teen pregnancies were #1 in the city/ Family disintegrated, typical divorced bitter fragmented family structure/ Tried over and over again to break into the comics industry, but at least got experience also working full-time at various jobs to pay the billz- donut maker, Safeway cashier, copy store manager, car wash slave, Office Depot person, Financial firm's desktop publisher, Intern to a big tech company, Corporate video guy, and some other ridiculous jobs where I tried to make the most of of things/ Somehow got into playwriting, with nary a play produced, but that got into short filmmaking, where I've gotten about 15 short and medium length films finished, but not quite filmfest worthy (well, maybe one or two) / Am trying to figure out whether or not I can look at all the screwups and mistakes in my life and use them as useful life lessons before my life dissipates/ Not sure. But for some odd reason, have not given up quite yet. Trying to be less of an arsehole over time is my immediate goal and learn to love the world as it is rather than me getting bitter and disillusioned over the way I see how humanity is. Will see. |
